Tenkai made quick time back to the estate that he called home. It was massive by any means and far beyond what any family would ever need to live. Even factoring in all who lived there, it was still vastly excessive. His family, the servants, and the guards all included, there were roughly eighteen people that lived there. However the estate had always been there as long as he had been alive. It had been in his family for his entire life and well before his own birth as well. Their family, after all, had been grand nobility in the Soul Society for almost fifteen hundred years. They were a very old and prestigious family with a great deal of history.

His father, Tenryuu Bushinji, was the one of the founding members of the Gotei Thirteen and the first Captain of the Tenth Division. He was still currently alive at the ripe old age of sixteen hundred and some odd years old. He served as a member of Division Zero and lived in the Soul Kings palace. He was most likely the oldest, or at the very least, one of the oldest shinigami currently living. In that likeness he was also one of the strongest shinigami alive. As strong as Tenkai was, there was an oceans distance between him and his father. It was actually quite frightening how strong the old man was.

Most likely for the best, Tenkai was violently snapped from his inner thoughts by the voice of a young man. "Who goes there, identify yourself!!" The voice came from the top of the gate that led into his family compound. It was most definitely one of the guards that kept eye for those who wished to gain entrance into the compound. Tenkai would normally have become a mite irritated at the man not recognizing him. However, with it being the dead of night and quite hard to see, it was rather understandable. "It is Tenkai, I wish to enter the compound so I might get some rest. It has been a rather long day, as usual." The silhouette of the man quickly vanished and moments later the gate opened before him.

The guard rushed out and quickly flew to the ground, kneeling before Tenkai. "Forgive me my lord, I could not see that it was you in the darkness." Tenkai knelt down and reach his arms under the mans armpits. Gently pulling him upwards he rose to his feet with the guard as well. "Don't trouble yourself over it. I had already guessed that you couldn't see that it was me. If you could then you wouldn't have asked." Laughing briefly after his light hearted comment, Tenkai made his way past the guard into the compound. He stopped after a few steps though remembering something very important.

Turning around quickly, he pointed at the guard causing a small bit of panic in the young man. "I had just remembered, someone will be arriving here soon. They are Vice Captain Rensaku Shihoin of the Second Division. I have invited him to stay the night here at the manor. Allow him in with no issue and treat him as you would the rest of my family. Make sure to show him to suitable quarters as well." With that Tenkai turned back around and began to head into the compound. From behind him he could hear the rustle of a shihakushou as the man had most likely bowed. "Yes my lord, of course!!"

Tenkai rolled his eyes slightly at the notion of being referred to as master. At this point he had just stopped fighting it despite the fact that it bothered him. Everyone knew he was not much for decorum and protocol. Still though, everyone around him felt a resounding need to continue addressing him with such mannerisms. With him now being the Captain Commander he could only see this problem growing even further. The mere thought of it began to give him a headache. He reached up with his left arm and rubbed at his temples. "It is going to be an interesting few weeks ahead of me."

Sighing lightly, Tenkai entered the manor and quickly made for his room. Being so late as night he knew everyone was already asleep and did not want to disturb them. Beyond that he just wanted to get to sleep as soon as he could and get a good nights rest. Quickly changing out of his haori and shihakushou, he slipped into something more comfortable to sleep in and dove into bed. Only moments passed before the sweet grip of slumber had seized him and he was off to lala land sleeping the night away.

Tenkai was startled from his slumber by a knock on his door. He expected it to be Rensaku attempting to locate him in the rather large manor. Slowly rising from the bed, he sauntered over the door and slid it open. Kneeling at the entrance to his door was not who he had hoped, but instead one of the servants. "What is it that you need? I was sleeping up until this moment." The individual in question tucked their head down further towards the ground quite possibly being afraid of Tenkai. While he was always irritable in the morning he was not one to get mad over such a small reason. "My lord, a hell butterfly came for you. I do not believe it was capable of delivering the message to you as you were in your room. However we have received the message." Tenkai sat th ere in silence starring at the person now in front of them with a blank look on his face.

He was waiting for them to speak but they instead remained in their position as they were. He assumed now that they were waiting for input from him, which really was not necessary. All the same though, he would give it to them. "Continue..." "My lord, Captain Setsune has sent information regarding the whereabouts of the Captains that went to the world of the living. The Shinigami Research and Development Institute has managed to pin point their location. He has included the coordinates here." Handing Tenkai a small piece of paper with coordinates hastily scrawled onto them the servant slowly backed away prepared to leave. "Thank you." Tenkai said half paying attention to them as he looked at the piece of paper. 'Finally found them. Now to deal with the issue, one way or another'.

Quickly changing his clothing he decided that he would head out immediately from his families personal senkaimon. Every great noble house had their own senkaimon for personal use and this was the perfect time for it. Quickly scribbling off a message to a hell butterfly in return to Sansuka he sent it off as he unsheathed his blade. Jamming it into the air in front of him he opened a senkaimon up and vanished into the world of the living.

The senkaimon opened in the midst of a courtyard on his families compound. A brief bright light flooded the area as his form moved into existence in the Soul Society with the senkaimon shutting behind him. Looking around he noted that the sun was just now beginning to rise. It put a slight amazement into Tenkai's mind allowing him to realize so many things transpired in just one night. In the simple course of one week, the Soul Society had been turned on its head. Tenkai's hope now was that things would return back to the piece that they had once been. However, he knew not whether said peace would arrive easily, or with great sacrifice. The fugitives had been found and taken into custody. Whilst he stood there, he knew they were being placed into the Senzaikyu to await their trial. Hopefully the Central Forty Six would process them quickly.

That however, was a fairly slim hope in his mind. They took a fair amount of time to get through anything, especially anything of import. It would seem counterproductive to function in such a manner, but they ruled how they saw fit. They were the ultimate authority in the Soul Society, other then the Soul King of course. Granted, he never directly intervened in the ruling of the Soul Society, simply watching with omnipotence. It was however this very reason that Tenkai most likely had such a pit in his stomach. There were three Captain level shinigami being held as prisoners. All of them were dangerous individually, and together they posed an even greater threat. Whilst in the Senzaikyu there was not much they could do since the Sekkiseki dispersed spiritual energy. But still, this did not ease Tenkai's mind.

While they were being transported to their trial before the Central Forty Six, he would most likely attend and escort them. If anything were to happen and they were to break free, there would be a crisis on their hands. After all the Quincy had put the Soul Society through, and then his own actions and the Captains betrayal, he would not allow anything else to occur. The people needed peace now, and that was why he did what he did. He was going to be the strong leader that they needed to guide them into the future. His firm, guiding hand would shepherd these innocent souls to the future. For now though, he had earned some rest and relaxation. Though he had not done anything remotely physical to tax his body, he was mentally stressed to the peak of his mind. He needed to do something to take his mind off of things, just relax for a while.

He could take care of the rest of his duties thereafter, but for now, he needed some calm. His brain led to him to wonder what his friend, Sansuka, was doing. Perhaps he could drop in on him and see how things were going. Tenkai knew there was the new soul that he had taken interest in. It was rare for Sansuka to do such a thing as well, leading to further interest. Tenkai had considered himself much more prone to taking on apprentices. Though, the only ones he had accepted thus far were his own son, and Rensaku. He would have to check on Rensaku as well, he had not seen him in Alaska as he had ordered. He hoped that the young man had not gotten lost, or something worse had befallen him. Though he knew he was strong enough to hold his own. He possessed his Bankai release and his reiatsu was strong enough to combat most threats.

He was sure that the young man was fine, though perhaps a hell butterfly out to him would set his mind further at ease. Scrolling out a quick set of orders for the young man he sent the hell butterfly out to do its job. Now with that off his mind, it was time for him to find Sansuka and get a status report on his daily activities. Vanishing in a blur of shunpou, Tenkai whisked himself off to where he sensed his friends reiatsu.
